Founders Gareth Moody, Dan Single, Paul Wilson and George Gorrow were dissatisfied with the denim fits on the market, so they made their own — originally under the name "tsubi," changing to Ksubi in 2006 after a trademark dispute. The label debuted internationally in London in 2002 at the abandoned Aldwych tube station, and is as famous for its provocations as its jeans.
Ksubi has collaborated across fashion, music and art — with Jeremy Scott, Travis Scott, Kendall Jenner and Kith — and runs its flagship in SoHo, New York, with stores in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and beyond. Pip Edwards was named creative director in September 2024. The K is silent.
