Story & heritage
Lakai Limited Footwear is an American footwear company based in Torrance, California, founded in 1999 by professional skateboarders Mike Carroll and Rick Howard. Its first shoe line reached shops worldwide in 2000, and the Manchester first appeared in 2007. The Manchester continues that skate-first lineage; Lakai says it has been the people’s choice since the shoe debuted in 2007.
