Story & heritage
The Summer Charms Walk is the women's interpretation of the White Sole icon — the same hand-finished suede deck loafer, distinguished by a small My Charms pendant fixed to the saddle at the front of the shoe. It keeps the unbranded, quiet-luxury character of the Summer Walk while adding a discreet, personalisable signature.
Like every shoe in the White Sole family it descends from the sailing inspiration behind the line, and shares its non-marking sole and slipper-soft build — the version that gave the loafer its enormous following a dedicated women's silhouette.
Materials & craft
The Summer Charms Walk is composed of soft suede with a calfskin lining over a rubber sole, made in Italy. The front saddle is embellished with the mini My Charms pendant in metal, and the rubber sole — common to all Loro Piana sportswear shoes — carries the embossed house monogram. The unlined hand-finished construction matches the men's Summer Walk.
How to choose & style
The Summer Charms Walk works the same way as the Summer Walk but with a touch more jewellery — the pendant gives a little glint against the matte suede. Neutral tundra, sandstone and chocolate are the most wearable; the soft pinks and pales lean spring. It pairs with everything from cropped trousers to summer dresses and, like the men's version, is best worn sockless.
