Story & heritage
Designed by Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi, Jokapoika has been in continuous production since 1956 and remains one of Marimekko's defining shirts. It is the house's most famous translation of the Piccolo stripe.
Materials & craft
The current shirt is made from a heavier cotton fabric containing 80% organic cotton and 20% recycled cotton. The cut is relaxed and straight, with a pointed collar and metal button closure.
