Story & heritage
Founded in 1997 in Encinitas, California, Nixon built its name on action-sports gear before the Time Teller became the watch that most clearly signaled what the brand stood for. Nixon’s own editorial coverage calls it one of the most iconic silhouettes in the lineup, and the watch archive keeps returning to it as a design benchmark.
The Time Teller works because it stays intentionally spare. That restraint gives Nixon room to reissue the shape in fresh materials and colorways without losing the clean outline that made it a staple in the first place.
Materials & craft
This version pairs a stainless steel case and bracelet with a hardened mineral crystal, a Japanese quartz movement, and 10 ATM water resistance. It is built to read as a simple analog watch while still handling everyday wear.
How to choose & style
Wear it when the rest of the outfit already has a point of view. The Time Teller is best as the quiet anchor: sharp with denim, easy with tailoring, and clean enough to disappear until you want the wrist to matter.
