Story & heritage
Captain Cook first appeared in 1962 as Rado's dive-watch answer to the adventurous spirit of the era. This modern High-Tech Ceramic Diver keeps the line's vintage silhouette but pushes it into a tougher, more technical register.
The result is a contemporary Rado icon: still recognisably Captain Cook, but reworked for serious depth and everyday wear.
Materials & craft
The 43 mm monobloc case is made from matte black high-tech ceramic, with a polished stainless-steel rotating bezel and a black ceramic bracelet. Inside is the Rado R763 automatic movement with 80 hours of power reserve and Super-LumiNova on the dial for legibility in the water.
How to choose & style
Wear it as a hard-edged daily diver: it works best with black knits, technical outerwear, and sharp casual tailoring. The all-black case keeps the look stealthy even when the watch is large.
