Story & heritage

Sergio Tacchini issued the Dallas tracksuit in the mid-eighties, after the brand had built its name by bringing colour and fabric experimentation into tenniswear. The current Houndstooth Track Jacket keeps the Dallas name in circulation as an elevated spin on that Tacchini classic.

The official product copy ties the Dallas to John McEnroe’s 1984 Wimbledon moment and to British casual culture throughout the 1980s, which makes it the clearest archive reference in the present line.

Materials & craft

This version uses an all-over houndstooth check pattern, taping stripes across the chest, and a custom woven sleeve label. It is designed as a matching set with the Dallas Houndstooth Track Pant.

How to choose & style

Wear it zipped with the matching pant for the full terrace-track suit read, or split it over a white polo and straight denim when the pattern should carry the outfit.

The Maritime Blue colourway is the sharpest archive-feeling choice; size up only if you want a looser overshirt silhouette.
