Story & heritage
The Lincoln Coat, introduced for Autumn/Winter 2025, is a direct descendant of the faux-fur outerwear that made Shrimps famous. It swaps pastel fluff for faux cowhide, but the idea is unchanged: animal-free texture as a statement surface.
Because Shrimps drew attention to faux fur as a fashion fabric, a shaggy cowhide-effect coat reads less like costume and more like house vocabulary.
Materials & craft
Shrimps describes the Lincoln as luxury faux cowhide with a shaggy exterior. It is knee length with a statement collar, hook-and-eye closure, two side pockets, one internal pocket, an adjustable waist belt, and Italian-made surplus-fabric lining printed with Shrimps illustrations.
How to choose & style
Treat Lincoln like a patterned coat rather than a neutral. It looks sharp with one-colour layers underneath — black, cream or denim blue — and the belt lets it shift between slouchy shag and more defined waist.
