Story & heritage
The striped knit dress carries the same Rykiel code as the sweater but gives it more movement. The official Iconic Stripes page currently lists a jersey maxi dress and frames stripes as a special house symbol in women's ready-to-wear.
Farfetch's current striped knitted midi dress keeps the formula direct: a wool-blend, fine-ribbed, horizontal-stripe dress with long sleeves and a mid-length line.
Materials & craft
The dress format depends on ribbed knit recovery and careful stripe placement so the lines remain clean across the torso, sleeves, and hem. Current retail examples use wool-rich blends and are made in Italy.
