Story & heritage
Still Here is an American fashion brand founded in 2018 by Sonia and Maurice Mosseri, based in New York City, known for vintage-inspired denim jeans. It began on Instagram with hand-painted denim, launched its first season with Barneys New York in 2019, later expanded to Net-A-Porter, opened a Nolita retail location in 2022, and its jeans are hand finished in Los Angeles.
For this icon, the current official product page grounds the silhouette: Still Here explicitly identifies the Tate as its first jean, making it the clearest archival anchor in the live collection.
Materials & craft
The Tate Jean is our classic vintage style jean. It's a tapered leg, high rise, crop wedgie fit with a detailed focus on lifting and flattering. It features a traditional button fly, custom hardware and our signature 'SH' embroidery. The Tate is our first jean. 100% Cotton High-rise Tapered-leg
How to choose & style
Choose Tate Jean when the outfit needs the first jean energy without leaving Still Here’s vintage-denim register. Wear it with plain shirting, ribbed tanks, or cropped knits so the denim details stay visible; size and wash do most of the styling work here.
