Story & heritage
The gloves complete the cold-weather Stone Island set — padded technical gloves carrying the embroidered compass on the back of the hand. They belong to the same accessories family as the beanie and cap, and carry the brand's emblem onto another everyday object, the badge once again doing the signalling.
Like the rest of the accessories, the gloves are built in the house's treated technical fabrics rather than plain materials — a small reminder that Stone Island's interest in fabrication runs all the way down the range. Worn with the matching beanie and cap, they make the full set.
Materials & craft
The gloves are built from a padded, resin-treated recycled nylon (such as Nylon Metal in ECONYL) with the compass embroidered on the back of the hand, faux-leather or grip trim on the palm and an elasticated cuff; some versions add an attachment buckle so the pair can be clipped together. The padding and treated shell give them warmth and a technical, weather-ready feel.
How to choose & style
The gloves are the last piece of the winter set — black with the embroidered compass is the most versatile, and they pair with the beanie and cap for a coordinated cold-weather look. Worn with one of the brand's down or shell jackets, they round out the full Stone Island uniform from head to hand.
