Story & heritage
Tracy Reese launched her namesake label in New York in 1998, later building the Plenty, Frock! and Black Label lines before returning to Detroit with Hope for Flowers in 2019. The current collection keeps the designer's known language of rich colour, print and feminine ready-to-wear, but reframes it through smaller-batch, responsibly sourced materials.
In that current Hope for Flowers wardrobe, the Embellished Skirt stands out because the official product page gives it a clear silhouette: 65% Tencel 15% Linen 20% Nylon Beautiful Midi circle skirt with fabric embellishment and elastic at back waist Tencel ™ is another fiber we love for its soft hand and long lasting durability. The best part? TencelTM production uses even less water in production than organic cotton which is already down 85% from conventional cotton! Lined with organic cotton lawn Invisible side zipper 35’’ length

Across the line, Reese emphasizes responsible sourcing, digital or small-batch production where possible, and materials chosen for lower environmental impact rather than disposable trend speed.
How to choose & style
Wear it as the expressive piece in the outfit rather than layering on competing statements; Reese's colour and surface detail usually carry the look on their own.
For the most versatile read, pair the silhouette with simple sandals, low jewellery and a compact bag; for a more editorial read, echo one colour from the print or trim elsewhere in the outfit.
