Story & heritage
Wolford’s official product page calls the Fatal Dress iconic, and that status is reinforced by editorial coverage of the piece as a long seamless tube that can be worn as a strapless dress, pencil skirt or miniskirt. The same official copy positions it as one of the brand’s most versatile bodywear ideas.
The broader Wolford story makes the Fatal convincing: the Austrian house is known for seamless products, and the Fatal turns that hosiery intelligence into ready-to-wear.
Materials & craft
The current US product page describes a stretch velvet tube dress in mat velvet circular knit, now incorporating Blufibre recycled yarn partly made out of old tire waste. It is slim, seamless, sustainably dyed, finished with knit hems and designed to fold into different lengths or garment roles.
How to choose & style
The easiest read is tonal and close to the body: let FATAL Dress create the clean base, then add tailoring, a skirt, denim or a long coat on top. Black is the most architectural option; seasonal neutrals soften the line without losing the Wolford effect.
