Four releases, two routes
The summer 2026 fashion collaborations and capsules worth watching
A limited label does not make every drop urgent. These four releases have a clear design change, a verified sales channel, and enough current stock information to support a decision.
Summer collaboration season can blur a new collection, a restock, and a marketing rerun. The distinction matters. According to data published in Adidas's official releases and US product listings, its Wales Bonner Spring/Summer 2026 collection launched April 17 and its AVAVAV collection launched May 22. Converse followed with a Collina Strada launch on June 16. The Converse x Isabel Marant capsule is a return, not a first-time 2026 debut.
The ChicAire editorial team independently selected these entries from official release and product pages. Each needed a named design change, a current price, and a clear route to buy or monitor. Prices reflect US listings where available. Stock is a July 14 snapshot, so limited sizes can disappear without notice.
This is researched coverage. It does not include claims about comfort, sizing, durability, or performance. Product details come from official Adidas, Converse, and Isabel Marant materials.

Wales Bonner x Adidas Gazelle Pony Shoes
$200
The Wales Bonner SS26 release builds a lifestyle story around football. The Gazelle Pony uses a pony-hair upper, black leather details, and contrast stripes. A $220 Gazelle Snake version uses a faux-snake upper with cognac details.
The wider collection moves between pitch and street. Adidas also lists a woven Karintha, Adizero Adios, Predator boot, track top in interlocked twill, and an ivory crinkle-ripstop jacket. That range gives the Gazelle a clear place: it is the most recognizable entry point.
Main tradeoff: the Pony is less radical than the $600 woven Karintha. It is also easier to place in an existing wardrobe. Buyers seeking the collection's craft centerpiece may find it too familiar.

Adidas Megaride by AVAVAV Shoes
$200
Beate Karlsson, creative director at Avavav, reframed the Megaride for the label's SS26 Adidas collection. The official release gives her full name as Beate Skonare Karlsson. Windowed mesh and cut-out caging turn the runner's upper into the main visual device. Canvas and suede versions keep the construction visible.
The official release also includes a deconstructed Superstar, a faux pony-hair Superstar, sculpted track pieces, and a large leather sports bag. Adidas still listed the Megaride at $200 in its US collaboration assortment on July 14.
Main tradeoff: the cut-out cage makes this the least neutral shoe here. It serves someone who wants the collaboration to be obvious, not someone looking for a quiet daily sneaker.

Converse x Collina Strada Chuck 70 Low Top
$165
Collina Strada covers the Chuck 70 low top in floral jacquard. The build adds a molded toe cap, detachable fold-over tongue, custom charms, star eyelets, and collaboration marks at the patch and insole. This is more than a printed canvas update.
Converse's US launch page showed the $165 low top and $205 XXHi as available. A $175 tall-shaft version and another $165 low-top color were sold out. That split makes color and shaft height part of the stock decision.
Main tradeoff: the charms, flowers, and fold-over tongue carry the whole proposition. Remove that decorative appetite and a standard Chuck 70 becomes the more rational purchase.

Converse x Isabel Marant Chuck Wedge RD Sneakers
$190
Isabel Marant's official store says the Converse capsule is back as a limited drop. The Chuck Wedge RD revives the designer's wedge-sneaker vocabulary within a Chuck shape. The page also lists tall Chuck 70s at $150 and an Ox at $140.
The original corporate collaboration release explains the hidden-heel idea and the goal of keeping a classic Chuck Taylor base. That history is useful, but it does not turn the return into a new 2026 launch. Treat it as a stock watch.
Main tradeoff: a wedge changes posture and proportion. Without independent fit evidence, the safest decision is to verify the return policy and size guidance before ordering.

What is materially new
Wales Bonner: familiar Gazelle geometry gains pony hair or faux-snake texture, while the collection links lifestyle shoes to a full football kit.
AVAVAV: the Megaride's upper is cut into a cage. The collaboration changes the shoe's structure, not just its palette.
Collina Strada: floral jacquard runs across the upper, toe, and foxing. A detachable tongue and charms add physical options.
Isabel Marant: the wedge remains the design intervention. The news is renewed access, not a new concept.
The first three are verified 2026 releases. The fourth belongs in a different lane. That boundary keeps the watchlist useful and prevents “back in stock” from becoming “new collection.”

Who each release suits
Choose Wales Bonner for a recognizable sneaker with a richer surface. Choose AVAVAV for a visibly constructed statement. Collina Strada makes sense when decorative detail is the reason to buy. Isabel Marant serves someone who missed the wedge capsule and understands that this is renewed stock.
The reservation is simple. Collaboration pricing should buy a real design difference. If pony hair, cut-out caging, floral jacquard, or a hidden wedge does not solve a specific style need, the partner names alone do not close the case.
What to buy now, watch, or skip
Buy now
The $165 Collina Strada low top has the lowest entry price and the most construction detail per dollar, provided the floral treatment already fits your wardrobe.
Watch
Monitor the Wales Bonner Gazelle sizes. Several higher-concept shoes were already sold out, while the Pony and Snake versions remained listed.
Skip for now
Pass on the Isabel Marant wedge if return terms or size guidance are unclear. A returning limited drop does not justify fit guesswork.
The bottom-line watchlist
Collina Strada offers the clearest price-to-detail case. AVAVAV makes the strongest structural change. Wales Bonner is the easiest route into a broad SS26 story. Isabel Marant is a targeted second chance, not breaking news. Track stock, not hype: the useful signal is whether the exact material, color, and size remain available when you are ready to decide.
