Story & heritage
The official artist-series page says agnès b. builds bridges between art and fashion through a separate line outside the seasonal cycle, with work by more than sixty artists. Its genesis reaches back to the Rue du Jour boutique and a 1994 idea from Félix González-Torres for the “nobody owns me” T-shirt.
Materials & craft
These pieces use the T-shirt as a print surface: drawings, slogans and photographic works are placed on cotton jersey silhouettes such as Le Mixte, Brando and Stylecourt. The craft is intentionally direct, preserving the democratic, lived-in quality of a tee while carrying a named artwork.
How to choose & style
Keep the rest plain and let the artwork do the talking. A black artist tee under the snap cardigan feels house-canonical; a white version with denim keeps the piece closer to a gallery souvenir than a logo shirt.
