Story & heritage
The Crest Oxford Shirt is an ALD staple because it takes one of menswear’s most conventional garments and changes only the signals: a Queens crest at the chest, a softer streetwear context around it, and proportions that work under fleece or alone.
Vogue’s visit to the Nolita flagship noted oxfords among the “no-brainer, easy-to-wear” ALD goods. This shirt is that idea made permanent: familiar first, branded second.
Materials & craft
The official listing specifies an embroidered Queens crest at the chest, a back yoke with box pleat, regular fit, front and cuff button closures, one left-chest patch pocket and 100% cotton construction.
How to choose & style
Let the collar show under a hoodie or quarter zip, or wear it open as a lightweight overshirt. Blue keeps the shirt close to the oxford canon; striped versions lean more vintage prep.
