Story & heritage
The Leon Overshirt is ALD at its most usable: a shirt with enough weight to replace a light jacket and enough polish to sit over knitwear or a tee. It fits the brand’s post-streetwear heritage lane, where workwear shapes are softened into city uniforms.
The “Leon” name keeps the piece close to the brand’s own etymology: ALD combines the French word Aimé, Santis’s father’s nickname Leon and a contraction of Theodore.
Materials & craft
The official product details list piece-dyed cotton twill washed for a soft hand feel, an embroidered chest logo, straight collar, back yoke with box pleat, mother-of-pearl buttons, sleeve pleats and a branded woven loop label.
How to choose & style
Wear open over a tee for the cleanest ALD read, or buttoned with relaxed trousers when you want the overshirt to replace a chore coat. Blue feels classic; striped and printed versions move louder.
