Story & heritage
Founded by Teddy Santis in 2014 and rooted in Queens, Aimé Leon Dore has made quiet, repeatable wardrobe pieces feel culturally specific. The Unisphere Tee is the purest version of that formula: a simple cotton jersey T-shirt carrying the graphic language that runs through ALD’s sweats, hats, bags and accessories.
Its role is not novelty; it is recognition. The current official product page keeps the details spare — cotton jersey, a regular fit, ribbed neck and Unisphere logos at the back and chest — which is exactly why the tee reads as a house staple rather than a seasonal one.
Materials & craft
The official specification lists cotton jersey fabric, printed Unisphere logos, a ribbed neck, a branded woven loop label, 100% cotton, machine wash care and production in Portugal. The construction is intentionally familiar so the graphic carries the identity without changing the way a daily tee wears.
How to choose & style
Wear it as the quiet base layer in an ALD uniform: under an oxford, with carpenter denim, or tucked into nylon shorts. Botanical green brings the logo into the foreground; black, navy and cream read more like repeat-buy essentials.
