It keeps the core Altra proposition intact: zero drop, a roomy Original FootShape™ toe box and a durable ripstop upper, aimed at runners and hikers who want the Lone Peak silhouette but prioritize traction.
Materials & craft
Altra lists a 100% RPET ripstop mesh upper, Altra EGO™ midsole, Vibram® Megagrip outsole, 0mm drop, 25mm stack height, neutral support and Original FootShape™ fit. Compared with the standard Lone Peak 9, the outsole is the defining craft change.

Choose Lone Peak 9+ by terrain first: road models for pavement, trail models for dirt, support models when guidance matters, and carbon models for faster efforts. Altra fits are deliberately roomier at the toes, so compare the fit family as much as the activity.
