Story & heritage
Ballyrina is the house's feminine counterpoint to the men's formal classics: a ballet-flat idea with the restraint of a Mary Jane. Bally's current version describes the shoe as an expression of Bally craftsmanship and heritage, with a buckle inspired by hardware from the archives.
The square toe makes it feel more architectural than a soft ballet slipper, which is why it fits Bally's world: polished, practical, and still recognizably shaped by shoe craft.
Materials & craft
The current Ballyrina flat is made in black calfskin with a Mary Jane strap and metal buckle. Its low heel and squared toe keep the silhouette compact while the strap gives the upper a precise line across the foot.
How to choose & style
The Ballyrina works with long skirts, cropped denim, or soft tailoring. Because the toe is square and the buckle is compact, it gives a flat-shoe outfit enough structure without becoming prim.
