Story & heritage

The official Hampton collection page says the rectangular shape was unveiled in 1994, drawing on a vintage 1920s Art Deco look and an iconic piece from the 1960s.

The Hampton 10732 brings that language into a 43 x 27 mm automatic watch with a blue sun-satin opaline dial and a polished rectangular steel case.

Materials & craft

Baume & Mercier lists the 10732 with an automatic self-winding movement, 38-hour power reserve, 5 ATM water resistance, domed sapphire crystal, sapphire case back and interchangeable alligator strap. The dial uses rhodium-plated Arabic numerals, riveted indexes and glaive hands.

How to choose & style

Hampton is the artful alternative to a round dress watch: the blue strap and dial sharpen denim, navy tailoring and monochrome looks, while the rectangular case adds architecture under a cuff.
