Story & heritage
Baume & Mercier presented the Riviera in 1973, and the house describes the collection as a timepiece that changed watchmaking codes through its dodecagonal design. Current Riviera pages keep that 1970s line alive through steel cases, quartz, automatic and Baumatic executions.
The Riviera 10845 specifically revisits the Riviera 73 spirit with a 39 mm steel case, no visible bezel screws, a white opaline wave dial and an integrated steel bracelet.
Materials & craft
For Riviera 10845, Baume & Mercier lists a satin-finished steel case, anti-glare sapphire crystal, ETA F06.115 quartz movement, five-year autonomy, 5 ATM water resistance and a triple-folding steel clasp. Other Riviera variants extend the family into Baumatic, chronograph, GMT and moon-phase expressions.
How to choose & style
Choose Riviera when you want a sport watch that still reads polished: the bracelet versions sit cleanly with tailoring, while rubber-strap and blue-dial variants make the shape feel weekend-ready.
