Johan Striped Shirt
A blue-and-white cotton shirt that reconnects Bellerose to its shirting origin.
Story & heritage
Bellerose began in 1989 with men's shirts, and the Johan keeps that origin visible in the women's line: classic collar, button front, stripe, but cropped and relaxed for a modern proportion.
Bellerose Belgium SA/NV is headquartered in Groot-Bijgaarden, near Brussels. The company was started by Jean-Pierre Delhaye, Charly Bouvy, and Patrick Van Heurck in 1989 with a line of men's shirts; the name refers to Bellerose, New York. Its first women's collection followed in 1998 and its children's line in 2002.
Materials & craft
The official product page lists Johan as a relaxed cropped shirt in 100% cotton with blue and white stripes, a classic collar, button-up closure and buttoned cuffs.
How to choose & style
Use Johan as the structured piece under soft knitwear or wear it open over a tank. The crop makes high-rise denim and relaxed Pasop trousers feel sharper.
