Story & heritage
Hebe is the pragmatic side of Biyan’s ornate coat category: floral jacquard, metallic finish and a button-front shape that can move between outerwear and occasion jacket.
Biyan Wanaatmadja founded the BIYAN label in 1984 after European fashion training and early atelier work in Surabaya; current retail presentations continue to frame the house around Indonesian craft, romantic detail and couture-level embellishment.
Materials & craft
Retail details for the black-and-gold version list textured floral jacquard with metallic finish, collar that can be spread or notched, large button-front closure, long sleeves, twin slit pockets, fully lined interior and a fabric composition of metallised polyester, polyamide, polyester and acetate with 100% acetate lining.
How to choose & style
Button it as a coat over slim trousers, or leave it open over a column dress; the black-and-gold version reads richer, while the stone-grey-pink variant softens the same shape.
Because the collar can be spread or notched, it adapts well to both high-neck and open-neck underlayers.
