Story & heritage
The Torhill Bee is Clarks' contemporary archive play. The brand states that its bold ribbed outsole comes from the archives and recalls the 1990s Big Gripper profile, while the upper models its curves and contours on the iconic Wallabee.
That makes it a bridge product: not a mid-century Original, but a current Clarks signature that translates archive language into a heavier modern casual shoe.
Materials & craft
The light tan nubuck version pairs a nubuck upper with textile lining, leather sock, EVA midsole and TPR sole. Clarks lists a removable molded leather Contour Cushion footbed, adjustable laces, debossed fobs and a 40mm heel height.
How to choose & style
Torhill Bee is strongest when you want Clarks codes with more volume. Balance the ribbed sole with wide denim, carpenter pants or longer skirts; light tan nubuck keeps the bulk from looking too severe.
