Story & heritage
The Heli Pro is Dakine’s compact backcountry snow pack. Official copy for the 24L calls it “not too big and not too small,” placing it in the practical middle of the snow-pack range.
Its role is clear: a powder-day pack for riders who need board or ski carry, avalanche-tool storage and enough volume for layers without stepping up to expedition size.
Materials & craft
The Heli Pro 24L page lists a 100% recycled nylon body, vertical snowboard carry, diagonal ski carry, snow-tool sleeves, a fleece-lined goggle pocket, side and hip-belt pockets, and hydration compatibility.
How to choose & style
Pick the 20L for lift-accessed laps and light missions; choose the 24L when extra layers and food need room. Spice and Port Royale show the pack as mountain gear, while black keeps it low-key.
