Story & heritage

De Grisogono was founded in Geneva in 1993 by Fawaz Gruosi, whose reputation was closely tied to black diamonds and saturated colour. Allegra became one of the house's most recognisable everyday signatures because it translated that high-jewellery exuberance into a repeatable motif: multiple gold or ceramic bands braided into one sculptural jewel.

The Allegra vocabulary later moved easily between rings, bracelets and watches. Its appeal is the tension between movement and precision: the bands appear spontaneous, but the silhouette remains compact enough to wear as a daily statement.

Materials & craft

This Allegra example pairs 18k white gold with light-blue ceramic and tsavorites. The visual language is built from parallel bands, gem-set rails and polished inner surfaces, giving the ring a layered effect without hiding its structure.

How to choose & style

Allegra works best when treated as the colour note in an otherwise disciplined look. Let the ceramic choose the palette: pale blue reads fresh with white shirting and denim, while black-ceramic versions feel sharper with tailoring.
