Story & heritage
Léonce is the newest official Delvaux Emblematic, dated 2024 on the house overview. Delvaux presents it as inspired by the past yet modern: an envelope-like shape that links generations through a D-shaped jewellery buckle.
The line brings a flatter, more graphic shoulder-bag proportion into the Delvaux canon, balancing heritage hardware with a silhouette designed for everyday crossbody wear.
Materials & craft
The Léonce shown here is made in deep, luminous grained Opera Calf with natural calfskin lining, one exterior back pocket, one main compartment, two side compartments, an adjustable leather strap and a deep-gold signature Léonce buckle. Delvaux states that the Opera Calf is sourced from France and crafted in workshops in Belgium and France.
How to choose & style
Léonce suits people who want the Delvaux code without a top-handle form. Black is sleek and graphic; sesame and night-sky tones make the envelope shape softer and easier for daytime.
