Story & heritage
Launched in 1967, the Tempête is one of Delvaux’s official Emblematics. The house describes the model through a balance of precision and fantasy: clean, sculptural lines with a fastening system that gives the bag its unmistakable character.
In the current line-up, the Tempête remains the formal counterpoint to the Brillant — stricter, more architectural and built around a crisp clasp rather than a logo-shaped buckle.
Materials & craft
The Tempête PM shown here is made in natural grained Crispy Calf with natural calfskin lining, an interior flat pocket with vanity mirror, removable adjustable leather strap and gold-tone hardware. Delvaux lists the leather source as New Zealand and the workshop locations as Belgium and France.
How to choose & style
The PM is the refined day-to-evening size: structured enough for tailoring, compact enough for dresses. Sirocco and vegetal tones soften the geometry; black turns it into the most formal Delvaux carry.
