Story & heritage
Emerica sits inside the Sole Technology skate-footwear family: the company was founded in 1996 for etnies, éS, Emerica and ThirtyTwo, and Emerica is described by its own store as skate shoes and apparel designed by skaters for the rigors of the streets.
Emerica’s official Dickson copy introduces it as Jon Dickson’s first pro model and calls the shoe a vulcanized powerhouse designed for harsh skateboarding.
Materials & craft
The official product page lists a Flick Shield rubber underlay beneath the toe, double-wrapped foxing, soft Achilles padding, pour-in G6 cushioning and Desert Grip tread.
How to choose & style
The Dickson is the durability choice: let the reinforced toe and gum sole pair with heavier jeans, fatigue pants and graphic tees.
White/green has the cleanest read; black/gold/white is the more classic Emerica palette.
