Story & heritage
Emerica sits inside the Sole Technology skate-footwear family: the company was founded in 1996 for etnies, éS, Emerica and ThirtyTwo, and Emerica is described by its own store as skate shoes and apparel designed by skaters for the rigors of the streets.
Emerica’s KSL III page presents the shoe as a retro court silhouette made for skateboarding, with Kevin “Spanky” Long involved in the design from start to finish.
Materials & craft
The official feature list includes a triple-stitched toe cap, blind-seam ollie area, drop-in EVA foam insole, internal Empact Foam heel pod, 400NBS rubber outsole and herringbone tread.
How to choose & style
The court-shoe influence makes KSL III the polished option: pair it with chinos, washed denim or a clean hoodie when a pro shoe needs to look less technical.
White/red highlights the retro sport angle, while black/white/white keeps it almost uniform.
