Story & heritage
The official Eclipse page says the model originally released in 1992 and was worn by Patrick Ewing during the 1992 Olympic Summer Games with the USA Dream Team. It is one of the clearest performance-era callbacks in the current Ewing Athletics line.
Materials & craft
The OG USA version is described as having a white tumbled leather upper with navy and red accents, navy neoprene inserts for ventilation, an adjustable rear ankle strap, and special #6 and 1992 branding with premium packaging.
How to choose & style
Because the Eclipse already carries a USA palette, keep the rest simple: washed denim, navy sweats or a white tee let the red and blue accents feel deliberate rather than costume-like.
