Story & heritage
Wikipedia lists the Rogue among the models Ewing Athletics reintroduced after the 2012 comeback, placing it in the modern retro canon rather than as a one-off colorway. The current official store continues to carry multiple Rogue releases, including core and collaboration makeups.
Materials & craft
The official Rogue page describes a forefoot cross-strap support system, neoprene midfoot inserts and an EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning. The Black/Gold/Gum version uses an all-black nubuck upper with pale gold contrast stitching and a gum sole.
How to choose & style
The Rogue works best when the strap stays visible: cropped cargos, wide denim or nylon track pants keep the midfoot structure in view. Gum-sole pairs make the model easier to wear than the brighter collaboration editions.
