Story & heritage
Sigvard Bernadotte was one of Georg Jensen's early design stars, and the official Bernadotte pages connect his work to the house's move from Art Nouveau toward functionalist Scandinavian modernism.
The thermo jug keeps the collection's signature shape and grooved design in an everyday object. It is a home icon rather than jewellery, but it belongs to the same silver-and-form tradition that made Georg Jensen famous.
Materials & craft
The Midnight Black thermo jug has a stainless steel inner lining designed to keep contents warm or chilled, with a polished stainless steel lid and push-button pouring. Related Bernadotte pitchers are crafted in mirror-polished stainless steel with Art Deco-inspired grooves.
How to choose & style
Use Bernadotte as the controlled graphic note on a breakfast tray, bar cart or dinner table. The black jug reads architectural; the polished steel pitcher feels more ceremonial.
