Georges Hobeika
Re-checked daily
A Lebanese luxury fashion house of couture and ready-to-wear, Georges Hobeika opened its atelier in Beirut in 1995 and has shown in Paris for over a decade — gowns built with an architect's eye.

Hobeika was born in Baskinta, a mountain village in Lebanon, one of eight siblings; he studied civil engineering and architectural design before the Lebanese Civil War forced him abroad. In Paris he interned at several fashion houses, then returned home to open his first atelier in 1995, debuting in Paris in 2001 and showing couture at every Paris Fashion Week since.

In 2022 his son Jad Hobeika was named Co-Creative Director, working alongside him. The house now runs four lines — Couture, Bridal, Signature and GH by Georges Hobeika — operating from a Paris showroom on the Rue Royale and its atelier headquarters in Beirut.
