Story & heritage
The Centenary Carry-On is the house signature in its most recognisable travel size: a cabin case for short journeys, built around Globe-Trotter’s squared vulcanised-fibreboard body, leather trim and polished fittings.
Globe-Trotter traces back to 1897 and patented vulcanised fibreboard in 1901; the Centenary line turns that material history into the clean, strap-framed case most people picture first when they think of the brand.
Materials & craft
The official navy version is built from deep navy vulcanised fibreboard with handcrafted navy leather corners, straps and guides, plus chrome fittings and four smooth-rolling wheels. Globe-Trotter describes the case as lightweight, durable and handcrafted for a lifetime of travel.
How to choose & style
Choose the Carry-On when the case is part luggage, part arrival gesture. Navy keeps the object formal and discreet; the chrome hardware reads crisp with tailoring, denim, or a wool overcoat at the airport.
