Story & heritage
The Centenary XL Trunk is the brand’s big travel statement, officially described as inspired by the original steamer trunk and designed for extended adventures beyond two weeks.
Its 100L capacity turns Globe-Trotter’s cabin-case vocabulary into a roomier, upright object — still heritage-coded, but made for serious packing rather than a weekend edit.
Materials & craft
The green-and-brown version is handcrafted in England from vulcanised fibreboard with brown leather corners, straps, guides and a leather-wrapped trolley handle. Brass fittings warm up the deep green body, and four wheels make the large format manageable.
How to choose & style
The XL Trunk is best treated as statement luggage rather than a discreet travel tool. Green and brown are the most heritage-facing pairing; it looks right with waxed cotton, tweed, camel coats and old-hotel lobbies.
