Story & heritage
The Clovehitch carries one of Sebago’s most literal marine references: the official page says the moccasins take their name from a famous sailing knot. It moves the brand’s boat-shoe heritage into a more technical construction.
Where Docksides is the timeless deck-shoe symbol, Clovehitch is the active sailing answer: still hand-sewn, but with performance-minded panels, elastic lacing, and a Marine Tack sole.
Materials & craft
Engineered to be the perfect technical boating shoes, these hand-sewn moccasins come with a moc toe 3 eyelet upper which combines oiled and waxed full grain leather and breathable Dri-Lex Hydrofil mesh panels. They come with functional 360 elastic shoelace system, anatomical EVA insole, Sebago Marine Tack sole with enclosed EVA midsole for comfort and slip-resistant security, and non-marking siped rubber bottom. Deeply bound to sea-life in their essence, the "Clovehitch" Moccasins carry the name of a famous sailing knot.
How to choose & style
Wear it as a Sebago anchor piece: cropped chinos, denim, utility shirting, polos, linen, and soft tailoring all suit the New England shoe language. Choose the darker leathers for the cleanest city read and the lighter suedes or tricolour versions when the outfit can carry more leisure and sailing character.
