Story & heritage
Sinn’s UX series is the oil-filled branch of its dive-watch family. The official page says UX watches unite innovative technologies with highly resistant materials, and WatchBuys lists the UX EZM 2 B Hydro as a quartz diver with an oil-filled case and 5,000-meter water resistance.
The UX matters because it is Sinn’s most extreme readability story: HYDRO technology removes underwater reflection and fogging, but demands quartz because the case is filled with oil.
Materials & craft
The UX uses a German submarine-steel case, HYDRO oil-filled construction, quartz movement, sapphire crystal and extremely high pressure resistance. WatchBuys lists the Hydro on silicone strap with 44 mm diameter, 13.3 mm height and 5,000-meter water resistance.
How to choose & style
The UX is for divers and engineering obsessives. Wear it on silicone; that keeps the whole proposition honest. The dial has an almost printed-on-crystal clarity, so it looks sharper than its case size suggests.
