The piece carries the Brooklyn brand's visual language: playful illustration, natural-world references, and a garment shape designed to be immediately readable.
McGillivary founded the label in 2018, and the brand's public biography ties her work to illustration, contemporary art, early animation, and cartoons. Our Dani Dress is made from magnified butterfly wings that were fit to the shape of a dress and laser-cut along the edges to mimic the shape of a true wing. This dress features super stretchy, soft fabric, a thigh-high slit and adjustable, ruching ties at the thigh and sleeve.
