Story & heritage
The official Dogwood Cuff page says the piece is inspired by the original Maltese Cross cuffs that launched Verdura’s career in the 1930s and by the iconic Dogwood Brooch he designed in 1943.
Verdura also notes that the Dogwood Brooch was memorialized that same year in a painting by Salvador Dalí, giving the flower motif an unusually art-historical place in the house archive.
Materials & craft
Official product copy lists this version with Moonstone, sapphire, black jade and 18k gold.
How to choose & style
Let Dogwood Cuff be the focal point: its motif is specific enough to carry a simple black dress, cream knit, or tailored jacket without needing competing jewelry. For a quieter read, choose one related format and keep the rest of the metals close in tone.
