Wooyoungmi is a South Korean menswear brand launched in Paris in 2002 by designer Youngmi Woo, who set out to build a designer label free to chase her own vision of the ideal man.

Born in Seoul in 1959 to an architect father and an art-and-piano-teaching mother, Woo studied fashion at Sungkyunkwan University and won Japan's Osaka International Fashion Competition representing Korea in 1983. She founded the menswear label Solid Homme in 1988 and helped launch the platform that became Seoul Fashion Week before establishing her eponymous house in 2002. Drawing on art and architecture, the brand became known above all for its tailoring.

Wooyoungmi has shown at Paris Menswear Week since 2003 and joined La Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Masculine in 2011. In 2014 The Korea Herald called it 'the most successful Korean independent menswear designer brand,' and Woo's daughter Katie Chung joined as joint creative director that year. It is part of the family-owned Solid Corporation.
