BEAMS PLUS was launched in 1999 as BEAMS's menswear label for modern basic utility wear, rooted in American traditional, work, sports and military clothing from the mid-1940s to the mid-1960s.

Materials & craft
The official product page notes original buttons on the front and back patch pockets, a thick cotton-tube drawcord at the waist, sporty ribbing at the hem and knee darts for three-dimensional shape. The cotton-based fabric is blended with polyurethane for stretch.
