Bode's beaded shirts extend the brand's textile archive into evening-weight decoration. The Beaded Sea Stripe shirt uses glass beadwork drawn from 1920s patterns, while Cherry Lane turns fruit trim into a lighter everyday shirt.
The line works because the base shapes remain familiar: camp and long-sleeve shirts carrying surface work that would otherwise belong to antique trims or formal garments.
Materials & craft
The Beaded Sea Stripe shirt is cut from lightweight 100% silk, with glass beadwork done by hand. Cherry Lane Beaded is a white shirt with beaded cherry trim, giving the same idea a quieter scale.
The beadwork adds weight and light-play, so the garment reads differently in motion than a printed shirt.
