Story & heritage
Hestra says Army Leather Patrol builds on the same robust concept as the Heli Ski model, but is designed to be worn under the jacket sleeve with a comfortable neoprene collar around the wrist. It is the less bulky sibling for skiers who still want Army Leather durability.
The model keeps the practical mountain details: removable liner, wrist strap, carabiner, eyelet and hanging loop. Its source story is function rather than fashion — a durable companion for long days outdoors in snow.
Materials & craft
Fingers and palm are made of impregnated goat leather with outseams for comfort and sensitive grip. The backhand uses weather-resistant softshell fabric, and a fleece liner with synthetic insulation can be removed, washed, dried or swapped for a thinner liner.
How to choose & style
Pick Patrol when Heli feels too expedition. Olive, charcoal and navy look best with understated technical shells; black is the easiest rental-proof choice for everyday resort wear.
