Story & heritage
The Square Bang is Hublot’s cleanest proof that the Big Bang identity is bigger than a round case. The line takes the familiar bezel screws, layered construction and rubber-strap integration and maps them onto a square 42 mm frame.
Hublot’s current US range stretches the format from titanium and ceramic into King Gold, Magic Gold, sapphire and tourbillon references, which suggests the square shape has graduated from novelty to a durable pillar of the catalog.
Materials & craft
The family centers on the Unico movement and 42 mm cases in titanium, ceramic, King Gold or Magic Gold, each keeping the same square bezel geometry and open-worked dial feel. Material changes produce most of the line’s variation while the core architecture stays fixed.
Because the watch face is so graphic, darker ceramics and black magic treatments read especially sharply; precious-metal versions make the same case feel much denser and more jewelry-like.
How to choose & style
Square Bang is the choice if you want Hublot energy with a slightly more design-object feel. Titanium or titanium-ceramic is the least polarizing buy; Magic Gold and black magic versions push the line toward collector territory.
