Story & heritage
MOMOTARO JEANS was established in Kojima, Okayama in 2005 and built around Tokuno Blue, the house’s deep indigo signature. Its numbered outerwear follows the same logic as the denim: clear fits, minimal decoration, and a strong relationship to fabric.
#001 is the widest-fit denim jacket in the line, so it reads less like a heritage trucker and more like a relaxed work layer with a modern shoulder line.
Materials & craft
Crafted from rigid Tokuno Blue denim, the jacket uses a single pocket, side pockets, a cinch-back, and cowhide leather details. It is made in Japan and designed to keep its shape before the break-in starts.
The loosened fit and slightly dropped shoulders let the jacket move with the body without losing the crisp geometry that makes it recognizable.
