Story & heritage
MOMOTARO JEANS was established in Kojima, Okayama in 2005 and built around Tokuno Blue, the house’s deep indigo signature. The brand treats shirts the same way it treats jeans: through fabric, pattern, and how the piece changes with wear.
This long-sleeve denim shirt pulls workwear language into a cleaner, sharper form, with triple stitching and a compact collar keeping the result disciplined.
Materials & craft
The shirt uses Tokuno Blue 8-ounce selvedge denim, so the surface starts crisp and deepens as it is worn. Triple-needle stitching, a cigarette pocket, and a relaxed body silhouette give it a proper workwear backbone.
Made in Japan, it is built to function as a shirt or a light overshirt depending on how you wear it.
How to choose & style
Wear it open over a tee, tucked into jeans, or layered under a jacket when you want more texture than a plain shirt. Indigo-on-indigo looks especially strong here.
