After the 2017 acquisition by Gildan, the official American Apparel assortment has focused on premium wholesale essentials rather than runway novelty. The icons here are the pieces that carry the brand's recognisable vocabulary now: Fine Jersey tees, CVC and Tri-Blend heathers, Heavyweight Cotton concert blanks, Baby Rib fits, and ReFlex fleece.
The 2006CVC V-Neck translates American Apparel's heathered CVC fabric into a slimmer neckline. It keeps the blank-tee utility but changes the read: less crewneck uniform, more easy layering piece.
