Story & heritage
Galle Lights is one of the brand’s coloured-gemstone signatures. Vogue Singapore’s selection centres the Morganite ring, describing it as a tribute to the historic city of Galle, a place dear to members of B.P. de Silva’s founding family.
The collection also fits the house’s public identity as a sapphire and natural-gemstone specialist. Its pieces use colour as the focus — morganite, aquamarine, sapphire, tanzanite and tourmaline — rather than treating diamonds as the only point of brilliance.
Materials & craft
Vogue Singapore’s Morganite ring entry specifies a 4.73-carat pear-cut morganite, an 18K rose-gold silhouette and a diamond halo. The official collection includes related aquamarine necklaces, studs and convertible earrings, making the same light-catching gemstone language available across rings, necklaces and earrings.
How to choose & style
The Morganite ring is the statement version and should be worn alone. Aquamarine necklaces and studs are softer daily pieces, especially with white shirts, pale knits and evening silk. The collection is best when the gemstone colour is allowed to lead the palette.
